Preparing the house

Jesus went to heaven to prepare a place for us; He loves us and wants us close.

"What will happen to me when I die?" Knowing that men would fall into this questioning, Jesus recorded a powerful teaching in the book of John. His advice is that curiosity and doubt as to what it will be in eternity do not consume us and steal our peace, disturbing our hearts, for He is putting everything in its proper place:

"In my Father's house there are many mansions. If it had not been so, I would have told you. For I will prepare you a place. And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also "(John 14: 2, 3).

When you stay at a friend's house and he puts all the best thinking about receiving you well is a great demonstration of love and humility. But to have the Son of God doing this for us is a very great privilege. It is assumed that the person serving is always the smallest in the hierarchy. However, if Jesus makes a point of putting his hands on the building of the place that the saints will inherit. No one receives anything unless it comes from heaven. It is for this reason that the master chose to go ahead to prepare our home. How important we are to Him. The great, the important, preparing place for those who are minors. May you feel very loved by God, for in your heart there is a special place prepared to receive you. God bless your day!
