May 2015, the heart of Francisca Carlos Lima, 70, inhabitant of Ipu, Ceará, got into natural impairment. “The doctors called my home saying that my mother`s heart started working just twenty percent of its capacity and they didn`t believe in any healing independently of what it could be done. They didn`t believe in any chance of surviving,” tells Francisca`s daughter, Elizangela Carlos Lima,40, inhabitant of São Paulo.

“When the doctor got my case, he told me he would perform the surgery on me just because he was supposed to. There was nothing to be done to save my life neither surgery nor treatment. He said that there was nothing to be done to avoid my death. I cried a lot and didn`t know whether I would resist. I didn`t walk. I didn`t eat anymore and even speak I couldn`t. It was just God`s hand supporting me” Says Francisca.

Aware of her death, Francisca wrote her family a farewell letter. “ I had the main artery, the aorta, getting impaired. The surgery cost thirty thousand reais. In the beginning my family couldn`t afford this price due to lack of resources.” “We brought her to my home in São Paulo”, says Elizangela. “Our hope was that someone would feel sorrow for her and become interested in helping her. We sought a way for my mom to be healed. A doctor from Beneficiencia Portuguesa Hospital got interested in her case and for the Glory of God, he didn`t charge us anything. At home we prayed, kept giving her the blessed water for her to drink. When it was the moment of the surgery, she was hospitalized and the doctor told us that he wouldn`t give us any hope, but he would try. After three months of preparation and eight hours of surgery, the doctors left the room and said - It was a miracle. It was one of the best surgeries I`ve ever performed and she will survive.” “God changed my heart and its valve, the aorta”, states Francisca. “I`m very thankful for God. I owe Him and this ministry my life. They didn`t let me lose hope and through the faith that I learned in this ministry I can testify God`s Power.”
