For ten years, Paulo Afonso Cotas Barnabé, 28, lived in the world of drugs and crime. “I dealt drugs, used them myself, cocaine, weed. My life was sunk in crime and totally destroyed. I lost two wives, two marriages, my family, due to the addiction and unlawful behaviors. There was a moment I wanted to stop, to quit, but I couldn`t get by myself.

It`s been six months, Paulo has been watching the TV Program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power and learning about Jesus Christ.

“I used to watch it high in the beginning. I learnt, through the preaching of the word, that God wanted the best for my life as He does for everyone. I learned that He exists and could change my life if I were faithful. I kept watching it and a month later I went to the services and God delivered me. I asked Him for strength and God delivered me from addiction, so I changed my life. After that, God provided me with prosperity and in one week I got a good job. Today, I`m a tithe giver, offeror, and I thank God for having restored my life little by little. He brought happiness again to my life as well as strength to overcome situations that I couldn`t have done myself. I`m very thankful for God.”
