God washed up my life from the mud of drugs

Edimar Gomes de Novaes, 32, started using drugs with eighteen years old.

“While my mother was suffering and seeking my deliverance, I sank myself in the mud using cocaine, marihuana, whippets. I didn`t have any intention to quit. I was addicted and I assumed it. My life was destroyed and people used to get away from me.”

Edmar, with twenty-eight years old, started worshipping God. “I agreed to follow my Mom to the Worldwide Church of God`s power one day, in the Worldwide City of God`s Dreams in the east zone, Brás, in São Paulo. God touched my life and I never stopped going there anymore. At that first moment, God cleaned my soul off everything He didn`t like and washed my life up from drugs. Today, I`m a servant at God`s house, with a new life that He provided me with through His mercy and love. Praise the Lord.”
