After twenty years being addicted to alcoholic drinks, the resident of Itambacuri, Minas Gerais, Arthur Barbosa, 55, explains that his health started to cast his addiction back.

“I started feeling myself weak, sick, dizzy, and spitting out blood. I had to search for doctors and they told me, because of the alcoholic drinks I had, I got a ulcer in my stomach. They also told me that it was worthless doing any treatment because there was no cure for that.”

Neither Arthur nor the doctors counted on the interference of God to solve this problem. “I met the program of the Worldwide Church of God`s power on TV”, tells Arthur. “I started to attend preaching, stopped drinking and I made a vow that, if God existed, He would heal me and I would serve Him for the rest of my life. God honored this vow and touched my life. Today, I`m healed, delivered, I`m a servant and column of Lord`s house. I`m very thankful for Jesus”.
