“I just didn`t die because God had a plan for my life”

“The work God did in my life motivated me to start this job, in the name of Jesus Christ. It involves helping people`s lives who are enslaved to addiction and sins like me. Tells Marco Alexandre de Barros, 40, Jandira, São Paulo. “For seventeen years of my life, I was a chemical addict, a user of all kinds of drugs. Three times, I was sent to prison and served the sentence due to my mistakes. The last six months of my life were spent in crack addiction and I didn`t die because God had a plan for my life.”

Marco, who accepted Jesus in 2011 at the Worldwide Church of God`s Power, had his life changed in Jesus. “At home, I met this ministry on TV and through my mother, who heard about Christ first. She shared this experience with me. So, it became my hope of a happy fulfilled life. I came to the temple, the old Headquarters in Brás, wearing borrowed shoes, no money in my pockets, like a beggar. On that day, Apostle Valdemiro Santiago was used by God to tell me that my sufferings came to the end at that moment. Thus, the Lord did in my life.”

Today, Marco performs a job of evangelization and support for homeless and drug users. “Together with the group of evangelization of bishop Dalton and bishop Sergio, God gave me condition to coordinate a recovering house where we preach for people who are addicted to drugs and who suffer from misery condition, those who need God`s help.” Followed by ten other men, who were recovered by this job done, Marco showed all of them in testimonial not only his, but all of them as well as the job they do. “This work belongs to the Lord. I`m thankful for my life and for their lives for being part of this ministry and part of such a great work which helps so many people.” He declares.
