“I spent three years in the world of crime and drugs”, tells the young man, Felipe Tulio de Souza, 18, resident in São Paulo, Capital. “I used and sold drugs. I started using weed I was fifteen, and I became chemical dependent. I tried and used all kinds of drugs and dealt weed, cocaine, and LSD. I used to carry a gun and used to arrive home very late. I used to meet my mother woken up waiting for me at dawn every day. She waited, cried, and sought God for my life, but I didn`t care”.

Felipe tells that his condition changed gradually. “I believe that my mother`s clamor made all difference in my life because as time went by, I wanted to get out of that life of crime and follow the TV program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power at home. Due to the preaching, I decided to come to the church and here I accepted Jesus and God delivered me gradually.

There has been five months God started to change my life, he provided me with a new opportunity. I regret everything I did and my first reaction was to go to my mother and ask her for her forgiveness, hug her, kiss her, and get a good job. Today, I`m thankful for God, happy with the Lord, and I tell everyone about God`s love because there is no other like Jesus”.
