“I didn`t know what I could do any more”

“Before meeting the Worldwide Church of God`s Power, I underwent hard times, I didn`t have money to buy bread,” tells Eva Renir Batista de Campos Sconginsk, 41, resident in Coronel Domingos Soares in Paraná. “My husband and I were unemployed; we had many debts, our name was dirty, underwent several humiliations, we were dependent on the help of my mother and my brother-in-law. I suffered from thyroid issues; I couldn`t buy medicine, the doctor told me I would become fatter and larger. I didn`t know what to do anymore”.

Eight years ago, Eva and her husband met the Worldwide Church of God`s Power through the TV program and the work performed by the ministry. They met Jesus Christ`s love. “The word preached touched our hearts, and while we watched, Apostle Valdemiro Santiago asked for financial help for the ministry and showed the purposes from that time, it was the payment book of Open Door, which came together with a key. He asked for an offer of thirty reais. We didn`t have the value to help, but we decided to contribute. We asked for my mother to lend it to us and she didn`t want to charge it, she gave us this amount”.

Through the loyalty and faith of Eva, her life and her family were transformed. “God gave us prosperity, restored all areas of our lives. Today, our financial life is like this: we have a real estate, which values more than seven hundred thousand reais, a renovated house, a land, which values one hundred and thirty thousand reais, a brand new truck, a pick-up truck, no debts; we have enough to help other people and to continue contributing with the ministry of God, for what He provided us. I was healed from thyroids issues two years ago; God saved me from getting fatter. God has looked after us, and everything is for the honor and glory of the Lord”.
