“I asked God for help and He delivered me”

“I was alcoholic since I was 17 years old”, says Carlos Alberto Fernandes Pinto, 60, resident in São José dos Campos, São Paulo. “Besides alcoholism I had a deep depression as well as psychological issues, I was hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital to treat addiction and those issues, but nothing worked out. I had remedies, underwent treatments, it was all worthless.”

It was through the TV program that Carlos found Jesus’ love. “I watched the TV program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power, and I realized God had performed changes in my life. When I realized, I didn`t have depression anymore, and my life was different. I asked God for help, and He delivered me from alcoholism, from psychological problems, from depression, and He gave me a new life. It`s been three years since God restored my life through this ministry. I`m very thankful for God and this ministry for my new life”.
