“I spent twelve years of my life with an addicted to alcoholic drinks, with cocaine now and then, destroying my life and my family`s life as well”, tells Michel Almeida, 24, resident in Pé de Serra, Bahia. “I used to cause problems to my wife. She met Jesus first”.

According to Michel, it was his wife`s life that made the difference. “She testified with her own life and she was the one who sought God on behalf of me watching the TV program every day, talking about Jesus and His wonders that happened at this church, until a moment that Jesus reached me. It`s been two years and eight months that I have been delivered from addiction. I recovered my life and I can say I found the true happiness in the Lord. Today, I am a servant at God`s House and I have just to thank for everything in my life”
