“I spent twenty years under addiction of alcoholic drinks, as an alcoholic one”, tells Zenir Elias da Silva, 66, resident in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul. “I used to sell real estate and wealth to buy me and others drinks to an extent that no one relied on me anymore, my family believed I was crazy, over. I used to wake up early and drink until I got into coma condition or faint because of those drinks. I used to do everything completely drunk, I used to drive, run the business, my life was for drinking”.

Zenir saw the changes in her life through the TV program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power. “I watched the TV program for the first time drunk, almost fainting. While I was watching the TV program for the first time, the Holy Spirit of God touched my life, delivered my heart from the addiction, and provided me with regrets.

After that, I searched for a church in São Leopoldo and since the moment that I stepped in the temple, I never quit. I learned to love God little by little, seek the Lord, became a tithe giver, offeror, and my life has changed as if it had begun again; as if it were a machine which restarted after a long time; it restarted to work out. I started to thrive in such an amazing way and Jesus made my family be closer to me again. He renewed all of my conditions and I started to buy real estate again. Today, my wealth values about one million reais for the grace of God. I was able to give a car to every son of mine, a house to every daughter and I glorify God because I am delivered. I have my whole life in Jesus Christ”.
