“For fifteen years I had a criminal life, using drugs,” confesses André Vagner Cordeiro, 31, resident in Várzea Paulista, São Paulo. “My life was for drugs and crime. I quit my job; I left my family, I spent two years living on the streets, involved with little crime and drugs. I stayed in prison for one year.”

In prison, André met Jesus. “On TV, everyone watched the program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power. I started watching it, and Jesus touched my heart. Still in prison, I started to cry out for God, according to what Apostle Valdemiro Santiago teaches in his preaching God delivered me. Today, I`m delivered from drugs, addiction, crime, punishment for bad attitudes, Jesus gave me a chance of a new life through this ministry. I`m very thankful for the Lord.”
