With God, there is a change

“I was weak; I couldn`t get delivered on my own.”

“I was delivered from drugs after nine years using them full of sufferings and making my family suffer together,” tells Dheymes Robert Alves Alexandre, 25, resident in Leme, São Paulo. “I got to know drugs when I was sixteen at school. After that, I couldn`t stop anymore and every money I made, I spent it on drugs. I wanted to quit, but I was weak, I couldn`t get delivered on my own”.

Dheymes` hope came to his life when his wife met Jesus. “I always promised my wife I would quit using drugs and she suffered, so we met the program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power. She made me watch it together with her and God touched my heart from preaching.

I started to pass through hand imposition, and God delivered me from the addiction; He performed a full restoration in my life. I got an honest job, I had a surgery paid by the company, and I have thrived since then. Everything I couldn`t get on my own, with God it is conquest that I glorify the name of Jesus and I celebrate. I`m very thankful for the Lord.”
