“I spent five years of my life as a drug addict, addicted to cocaine. I tried to quit, but it was worthless. I lost everything; I was humiliated, treated poorly, ignored, I lost my wife, my job, money, I suffered a lot, and passed through several clinics without succeeding”, tells Francisco de Assis Paiva Ferreira, 43. “I was hopeless; no one wanted to know about me.”

It was through a friend of Francisco`s who introduced the Worldwide Church of God`s Power to him. “I didn`t believe in God. I thought the miracles of this ministry were fraudulent, but I visited the church, and God talked to me here, and touched my heart and heard me. Jesus delivered me from drugs, and I started to have my life again. Today, I thrive, through faithful tithe giving to God, every week, two hundred reais, for the sales that God allows me to make. This work is real”.
