“While I worked with billing, I was shot with a caliber 12 bullet at close range, which hit me while I was turning. It hit under my right arm” tells Antônio Nogueira de Oliveira, 47, resident in Goiânia, Goiás. “The gun was shot with a homemade bullet. I was pierced by four fragments of the sphere and seven of those fragments were stored in my body. I got to walk three kilometers running away on a motorbike before fainting.

I woke up at the hospital, shot, all intubated in bed, one hour later. The shot pierced my lung. I lost ninety percent of the blood of my body; the blood pressure fell to six to one. The doctor came to talk to me and with my family. He said that every thousand cases, just one of them is delivered. I raised my hand with difficulties and I told him that I`m this one”.

Antônio recovered partially from those injuries. “After treatment and release from the hospital, I spent eight years suffering because of the pain. My arm didn`t move, and I needed to take blood every day and receive blood transfusion because of the lead stored in my body. I had to use inhaler and I was most of the time at the hospital” It was through a TV news story that Antônio got to know Apostle Valdemiro Santiago and the Worldwide Church of God`s Power. “I was sat on the couch when I saw a report badmouthing Apostle and miracles were shown. I got curious about the article and searched for the channel. I started watching, so I felt like going to the church and talking to God. I cried out to God on that day and He restored my health thoroughly. Since I came to this ministry, I have just received victory and a blessed life to me and my family as well. This work is from God.”
