“Both of us died, but God kept us alive”

“If it weren`t for Jesus, me and my daughter would be dead”, declares Elisangela da Silva Carvalho, 40, a resident of São José dos Campos, São Paulo. “I suffered from bleeding. I had issues during my daughter`s delivery because of that to such an extent that the responsible medical team warned my husband we could survive just for a miracle. Praise the Lord that miracles exist and we are here”.

Elisangela said that her daughter was dead. “During the delivery, I felt my strength vanishing and I cried out for Jesus’ help. The doctors removed my daughter in the surgery and I almost couldn`t hear the cry of the baby. I started to ask about her and cry. I realized in the look of those nurses that my baby was dead. They tried to talk to me in order to calm me down when her cry started. At the same moment, they started to smile and to cheer up surprised and I got to know she was alive due to a divine miracle”

With the little baby in her arms, Elisangela concluded. “When I woke up, after the rest after delivery, those doctors came to tell me both of us were miracles. According to them, the blood I lost, lack of strength, low blood pressure, and low pulsation made them believe both of us would die. But, God held us alive. The doctors recognized that our lives, mine and my daughter’s are miracles for the glory of Jesus”.
