Alcoholic drinks destroy and Jesus constructs.

“At that time, my asset was half a bottle of cachaça”

“For two years of my life I lived in the streets under a mango tree under a bridge on one of those freeways here in São Paulo,” tells Irenaldo Diniz dos Santos, 52. “The alcoholic drinks did that to me I was addicted since my teenage. I lost everything I had; I lost my family who suffered a lot and didn`t have any perspective of life. At that time, my asset was half a bottle of cachaça”.

It was in the streets that Irenaldo met Jesus. “Sixteen years ago, drunk and walking in the streets, begging for money, I passed by a service station where the TV was on the program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power. Apostle called everyone who was in a misery condition to meet Jesus. I decided to do it as I didn`t have anything I thought I had nothing to lose.”

With his family together with him, Irenaldo continued. “at this church, God delivered me from the alcoholic drinks, returned my family. Today, I have a house, an apartment, a logistics company, two trucks and ready to buy the third one. God touched my life mercifully and changed everything. He made me thrive in all aspects and gave me much more than what I ever dreamed of. I`m very thankful for the Lord.”
