"I spent ten years of my life in the drug world, doing everything wrong," says Regis Acácio Bispo de Souza, 29 years old, the resident of Santo André, São Paulo. "I was addicted to alcohol, cigarette and every drug you can sort. I ended up being detained and arrested by the police for a year and nine months; I served the term in Pinheiros, where I was a cellmate of that man who stabbed Apostle Valdemiro Santiago. "

Regis says that while a prisoner, the power of God released him. "My aunt used to evangelize me before, but it was in a cell where I met Jesus and decided to hand over my life. Most of the others in prison also had a great respect for this work and for God and even the boy who stabbed Apostle said he regretted and he is very thankful for all the help he has received from people of this Ministry.

With his letter of release order, Regis testified the miracle. "I fully accepted Jesus in August; I got sick of drinking and drugs and many other acts I've ever made and, in October, God released me, pulled me out of captivity and today I can celebrate my victory and about the penalty of my past mistakes because Jesus` blood cleansed me. I am very grateful to the Lord. "
