"I spent 30 years of my life addicted to booze and cigarettes, to the point of eating uncooked rice while drunk, ripping the package of markets and eating them thinking they were beef," says Frances Borges form São Paulo. "I drank a liter of brandy a day.”

Francisca tells that the problem was not limited to drinks and cigarettes. "Eight years ago, I also started to suffer from a terrible deep depression, fighting with my kids, my life destroyed. I used to drink and spend about three days into Forró dance halls. I used to take three painkillers a day"

It was at dawn when Francisca met Jesus. "I met the Worldwide Church of God`s Power in Cachoeirinha, coming back home at dawn, in a night of vigil and since I got here, God began to change my life. God has set me free from addictions, restored my family and today, I can say that I live only for Jesus"
