“I lived on the streets as a beggar and an alcoholic addict for forty years, under the condition of throwing up blood, wandering, falling down”, says Daniel Martins, 56, resident in Sorocaba, São Paulo. "I was born in a Evangelical crib, I deviated from the right path and every step I gave forward 200 were backward. I couldn`t see a solution for me.”

It was Daniel`s wife, Maria de Lourdes, who sought for his life. "She was an evangelist," says Daniel, "and spent eight years trying to get me to the Church. Only two years ago, I heard and followed her, without money for the bus. I refused to come to the church; I thought it wouldn't change a thing in my life. To me, all churches were the same, but here, at the Worldwide Church of God`s Power is different.

In this ministry, I`ve learned the purpose of worshipping and seeking God. I`ve also learned about the salvation and what God does to us. Today, I am a different person. After two years which I got converted, God has completely changed my life, the Evangelist He used to bring me to church is my wife, I opened a company in Sorocaba, in which God told me to be towards cleansing has thrived greatly. In my spare time, I write praises of God in gratitude and love for everything He did to me ".
