“I was addicted to every kinds of drugs to an extent that I lost everything I had in three years and I got to live in the street wandering, in the region of drugs in São Paulo” tells Lilia Soares de Freitas, 39. “If it weren`t Jesus, I would still be on the streets. Many times He delivered me from death and rape while I was lost on the path of death and I just came back to life because Jesus called me”.

Lilia met Jesus on a sidewalk. “It was Sunday and they evangelized on the streets in a moment when I was threatened of death as well as accused of crime which I haven’t committed. I challenged the one who evangelized me saying if God existed, I wouldn`t be into that condition. So in few days He removed me from that. On the same day I accepted Jesus the accusations against me were gone. I got baptized and I was delivered from drugs. Today, I have my own life, my own apartment, for the glory of God Me”.
