"Before accepting Jesus, my life was one of defeat, everything seemed to go wrong," says Élcio Martins, 32, a resident of Terra Nova do Norte, Mato Grosso. Through the television program of the World Church of the Power of God, Élcio knew Jesus. "I saw people with their lives changed through God and this work and I decided that I would come and give my problems to Jesus. My wife and I began to attend and participate in the campaigns and purposes and God honored us with prosperity and peace.

All the debts were paid, the Lord provided a way for me to work on my own, and from what He allowed to be the profit of my job, we conquered Jesus with our house, a truck, and recently I went on a public tender for an effective position. We stand, we baptize, and now we begin to do the work and tell more people how great our God is. "
