Ex-drug trafficker celebrates world drug release

Drugs are part of the past of Lucas who rebuilt his life when he met Christ

"... and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). This verse applies well to the life of Lucas Bosio, 27 years. A resident of Osasco, Metropolitan Region of São Paulo, the young man started drinking very early, at age 14, shortly after he was introduced to the drug world.

What was a practice to "enjoy with friends" soon gained a much larger dimension and out of control.

Lucas became aggressive and destroyed objects at home conquered by his parents. "TV broke, refrigerator. He gave a lot of work, "said the uncle to the Apostle Valdemiro Santiago in the World City of God's Dreams in Brás. To pay for his addiction, he became a soldier of the trade, serving as a scout and a trafficker for a difficult period he did not want to remember. The transformation of his life began through television. As he switched channels, World TV shows got attention. It was the beginning of a long process of liberation. From the past of slavery only memories remained. "I'm calm now. I do not want any more drugs, "said Lucas, who has an opportunity in the job market and acts as a logistics assistant.
