Calculus shifted to the pancreas offering imminent risk of death

One hundred and thirty-seven stones were removed from the gall bladder of the cook Terezinha Azevedo da Silva, 63 years old. One of the calculations moved from the organ to the pancreas causing emergency surgery at the emergency room of the hospital that Terezinha works in the municipality of Paraty, south coast of Rio de Janeiro.

"I had a lot of pain and days before I went to the surgery table, I could not eat right because I had crises," he told the World City of Dreams of God in Santo Amaro, São Paulo.

The cook discovered the diagnosis at work. "I did not have the strength to hold a loaf of bread and serve the staff. My blood and pressure were normal, but a doctor identified that one of the stones had migrated from the gallbladder and offered a risk of death.
