"I was freed from drugs," says João Batista Alves, 32, a resident of the city of São Luiz Gonzaga, state of Maranhão.

He has been a user of cocaine, marijuana, crack and alcohol for 10 years. "I looked for help anyway, but I could not get out of this cursed vice," says John.

I could only stay for 11 days without using it, but then it got worse and worse. "I had no strength left," says John. Until one day his wife tired of it was to seek for help. He went to the World Church to make a purpose for his life. One day she invited him to attend the Luiz Gonzaga Hands-On Service and he accepted the invitation. The Apostle prayed for his life and prayed for deliverance, from there he never used drugs and was healed for the honor and glory of the Lord.
