Cured of a bacterium

In the midst of despair she laid all her faith for the Lord to heal her son

Juliana Lima de Meneses, 34, lives in the city of São Paulo, was in the World Church to thank God for the miracle that happened to her son.

"My son took a bacterium called Infectious Cellulitis, the doctors told me it was dangerous because it could go to the blood and lead to death," says Juliana.

Infectious cellulitis occurs when it strikes the skin, infecting the deeper layers of the body and causing symptoms such as intense redness, pain and swelling. One day Juliana was watching the World Church's program of God's Power on television, and she did not believe in miracles. In the midst of despair she laid all her faith for the Lord to heal her child. After 5 days she had presented her son in prayer, the bacterium had dried on her entire body and her son no longer felt any pain. "To the honor and glory of the Lord he is healed and this work has been a blessing in my life," says Juliana.
