Many are the souls, which look forward to making evil things, but David in psalm 42.1 let it very clear that his soul looked forward to God. If you look forward to having other things, there is still time to run after them and look forward to God. A deer, kind of buck, wild goat, live in mountains where very seldom they find water. It`s an environment where a common buck would die after one week. Deer resist days without water

Even we don`t have a deer`s consciousness of saving energy and controlling our breath as many animals do. The deer resists weeks without water until a moment it becomes thirsty for them to come down and jump in the water, which is everything it looks forward to having. For having food, it looks for water. It`s a wild animal who approaches you for water.

Usually, you and I wish what lacks in our life very much and this man missed God very much. Most of people ignore and don`t know that the endless search for quality of life, pleasure and victories mean the lack of God in their life, a commitment, an alliance, a dependence in their lives. The full satisfaction is in Jesus Christ, so it doesn`t matter what you blame as being your soul`s wishes, it comes when we find ourselves thoroughly dependent on God Without God, anyone grows, any church grows, and anyone succeeds. In Laodicean, Jesus knocked at doors because that people threw Him out of the church. Only God may provide us with what we need and everything else is temporary and provisional. The psalmist was very anguished, which is a common situation to all of us - men and women. The psalmist was spiritually more powerful than we are, but look at the situation he found himself in, the need, and the lack of God he faced. Before, he felt God`s face before him. He got into depression and stopped eating. The depression starts with anxiety and it gets more intense as time goes; nothing brings pleasure. That man cried night and day. He took the signal of God with him. At the first sign of failure in your life, people will ask you where your God is. Family members, close people will enquire you and what will you say? Will you say that`s God`s fault and He got fed up of you, or anyone or anything put you away from Him? None of that would be true. Because of that, there`s the need of having the alliance, the unconditional commitment with God. Tjhere`s no right place for you to meet God. Jacob was in the desert, with no food, no water, and he met God. You, dear reader, who find yourself in the desert, recognize that God is with you. If anguish hits your heart, say you`re God`s home because wherever you go, He will be by your side When those, who suffer and cry, put themselves before God, they will see changes in their lives. Your help won`t come from a powerful godfather, from a friend to help you. Godfather is the one who baptize you, so ask for the Lord to be your godfather and baptize you. This psalmist seems to be confused. He remembered when he was a passionate Christian celebrating with shouts of happiness and songs with a crowd in party, and then he recalled his conditions. Devil might have blown something evil in his ears, who soon told himself that it was necessary to wait, remain in His path, and trust in God. This psalmist was surely blessed, and if you wait in God, you will be the same way.
