The Bible says that Jesus had multiplied five loafs of bread and two fishes before. This miracle made people eat plenty of food and get sustained. For the second time, in Mark 8.1, a crowd with nothing to eat was gathered. Jesus felt sorrow for those people and He knew they were with Him by faith.
Jesus healed injuries, expelled devils, but it lacked food for the body. Jesus isn`t different today comparing to that time. He knows you, who were restored and delivered, need to eat, need means of livelihood. It doesn`t matter if we are healthy, the fact is that we can`t live without food, housing, and clothes. We need resources.
At that opportunity, Jesus was among them for three days and many people came from far away. They heard the message and their starving condition called Jesus’ attention. It wasn`t necessary to warn Him about their condition; He knew about it and He was coherent with His work. He called the disciples to take actions. The disciples had seen the first multiplication. Jesus fed five thousand people with fish and bread. They should have answered that the Lord would do the same as before, but faith is small in some people, thus, they didn`t remembered. It shows how people are weak in faith. We were already blessed and we know what God may do to our lives from experience. We know Jesus Jesus asked people to seat down on the floor and to keep calm because the banquet would start. Jesus thanked with seven loafs of bread, which were not enough. Many people just thank God when they have abundance, but curse and complain when they don`t have it. Jesus was in front of a starving crowd and thanked for having even a little, it was not enough to solve all problems. The Bible says: thank God in every situation All attendees ate and got satisfied. Thank God for what you have as Jesus did. When we thank today, we harvest abundance tomorrow. What made the multiplication happen, it was to thank God. They even had leftovers. God doesn`t want you to have little money. He wants you to have much money with abundance at your home. Jesus multiplied just after thanking because everything has its right moment and time. After feeding and satisfying everyone, Jesus said goodbye to them. That`s the way He wants to see us with fullness and abundance. Those, who search for shelter in Jesus Christ, thrive. They receive open doors. Those who seek the Lord won`t miss a thing.
