The ones who belongs to God are never defeated

In Psalm 3, David talks about the increase in the number of adversaries that he confronted. Church, all of us undergo and will undergo fights, adversaries that rise, and this condition will just come to the end when we die. Devil just chases living people. Although David served God, his enemies increased, but it doesn`t mean he would be defeated. Being for God doesn’t mean evil condition never reaches you, the difference is to be or not with God because who is with God, has the victory guaranteed, but who is without God, is already defeated.

They gossiped about David. The world is full of gossipers and one of the hazards of gossiping is that the victim always becomes aware of what was said about him. The Bible suggests not talking too much. Gossips are curses and we don`t have anything to do with other people`s lives. Devil wants to come up with quarrels, separate friends, make them enemies.

When someone is down, ashamed, or humiliated, this person becomes crestfallen. God says He rises your head and everyone else`s head too. No one drives or walks with the head bent downward. God exalts your head, He doesn`t want you this way. Of course, you don`t have to have haughtiness, much less look at people boastfully, but god wants you to have your head upward, happy, with no debts, no problems, which make you ashamed or humiliated. It`s necessary to cry out and seek God. If we don`t seek, don`t cry out for God, nothing will happen. God won`t answer our requests. Crying out is very important, and coming to the church is also very important. Our houses are never like the church even though they are comfortable. The church may be a simple temple, with no luxuries, it doesn`t matter because what it can`t miss is the presence of God, nothing besides that works out. The sleep is important, the brain needs to rest, but there are people who are so concerned that they don`t sleep. His enemies, who were increasing, gossiping against him, and planning evil condition to him, surrounded David. But he could lie down, sleep calmly, and wake up aware that the Lord is the One who supports us. The Lord makes us calm because He cares for us, never be concerned about your problems because God looks after and everything will happen at the right time. The moment of David was terrible and his son wanted to kill him. He had to run away from the city because Absalom gathered an army to conquer the kingdom in advance. What Absalom got was to die. He got into the city, took everything over and David gathered an army with those who stayed with him and God gave the victory to David and few of those who stayed with him. David didn`t kill his own son, he ordered them not to touch him, but one of David`s commanders didn`t hold back and killed Absalom. David wanted reconciliation with his son, one of the commanders didn`t agree and killed him. Never be afraid of unemployment, drugs, debts, diseases, abandon, pains because if you cry out for God, He will help you and take you out of the mud, out of the shame, and exalt your head. Devil wants you to be impressed by the number of people who are against you, but God is the One who hurts those who want to touché His blessed ones. Teasing someone who belongs to God is very dangerous, it means teasing hornet`s nest. It would be good if people didn`t tease anyone, didn`t gossip against anyone, each one cared for his own family, and if it were possible, helped, didn`t mind about other people`s lives or tried to pull others down. Doing that against those who belong to God is even worse. God`s blessing is on His people. Those among us who are God`s people, will be blessed, so let`s celebrate it. In order to be God`s people, you need to make the Lord your God, the God of your life. That`s what we teach here, love and serve God and it doesn`t matter your religion. God knows who will be saved and He knows our heart very well. You have to follow God`s word and act the way the Bible teaches us in order to become God`s people. That`s what it means serving with your heart.
