The world doesn`t understand the message of the cross
God`s wisdom is perish foolishness for men

The word of cross, mentioned in 1 Corinthians 1.18, is specific. The cross was a tool of punishment to cause painful death, shame, and lasting long. Everyone could see, mock, and criticize. Usually, people taken to the cross were people who committed crime against state, such as thieves, murders, and malefactors. The message of the cross is that Jesus got our diseases for Himself and the punishment that belonged to us was over Him. Jesus was punished on behalf of us and took our pains. He said He suffered for us not to be subjected to that. All that was hanging on Jesus Christ on the cross. The world doesn`t understand how someone undergoes punishment on behalf of others. God`s Word says that it destroys the wisdom of wise people. All of the educated people, such as doctors, judges, attorneys, they study a lot, but all of that for God means nothing. All knowledge before God means nothing because His power is much bigger.
We have so much technological progress and God shows He is much bigger and if you serve God, He places us above wise ones of this generation. In order to conquer the Kingdom of God, we have to be simple because It is simple, and that`s why Jesus said that the small ones and children understand It. God`s Kingdom is not explainable furthermore, sometimes man`s wisdom and knowledge are against God`s Power
Wisdom of the world is limited and suppresses faith. An example is to give the tithe; take one tenth of your earnings, and many believe they lose this money, they won`t recover it, but when God wants, He opens doors and makes you receive as much as He wants, contradicting any knowledge people may have. The Word preached is foolishness to the world, but to us, it`s salvation. It`s what brings us prosperity, satisfaction, and happiness of living. The Word of God is not ordinary, it`s é supernatural. Because of that, we show miracles for you to believe and never doubt it. Surely God is not foolish, much less weak. He used a figurative language to say He knows more than we do and He is much stronger than we are, so we have to follow Him. We may not understand, but we have to follow and obey Him because God knows what is best to us.
