Tear your heart before God
Nothing is more important in your life than being before the Father

In Joel 2.12, it is said: “Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:” In this verse, our God teaches us the way for us to be converted to Him Fasting means the outcry of the soul when you don`t mind flesh and hear the Spirit. The cry represents soul brokenness when you succeed in delivering yourself before God. Tears mean clamor to the Lord, nonstop praying fearlessly, and no matter who surrounds you. He keeps teaching us, “And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil,” Joel 2.13
God, with His infinite kindness, teaches us the way to worship Him. He tells us to tear our heart and not our clothes, but what does that mean? We have to give Him our whole heart. Our heart is placed the inner side of our body, so just God can see the way we give it to Him. We don`t have to show ourselves tearing our external clothes in front of others. Our God is polite, and He doesn`t like scandals.
“Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the Lord your God?” in Joel 2:14. We have to preach the gospel to everyone. We have to throw the seed of Christ wherever we pass by, however, whether they regret, we don`t know. We have to play our role, which is to talk about the true love. In Joel 2:16, it is said: “Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.” In this verse, our God talks about what we have to congregate at His home. We have to gather to worship without separation by age because His home is for everyone We have to seek the Lord all the time; it doesn`t matter our appointments. Seek the Lord because nothing else is more important in your life than being before the Father. God tells us: “Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:” Joel 2:19. The corn represents abundance, wine means happiness, and oil means the Holy Spirit, in other words, an anointment He is the Almighty, and tells us to tear our heart, and spread the Word of Salvation wherever we go. The Lord promised us food, happiness, and anointment, and that`s all we need to live.
