Be a faithful man

“(…)Verily I say unto you; I have not found so great faith”

When Jesus Christ, the Savior, arrived in the city of Capernaum, He met the centurion, who begged: “And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.” Matthew 8:6. The centurion went after Jesus Christ to seek a blessing for his servant because he was sure that just the Nazarene could heal him and take him out of that condition he lived at that moment.

So, Jesus humbly answered that man: “And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.” Matthew 8:7. Jesus Christ, one more time He shows His kindness before a neighbor. He didn`t think twice about going to that centurion`s house and heal that man. This way, He is with you, so, pray to Him, tell Him your difficulties, say where you need a renewal, and He won`t think twice to help you either. But, He will come to your place right away bringing the cure, restoration, love, prosperity, and everything you want.

The centurion answered the Creator: “The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” Matthew 8:8. At this moment, that man proved how big his faith is before the Father; He showed the confidence he had in Him Have the centurion as an example for you. Put your faith in the Lord completely. Put all of your difficulties and wishes in the Father`s hands. Believe that one word is enough for you to be cured. Believe that our God is Powerful and He can change the whole situation with just one word. “For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.” Matthew 8:9. The centurion had authority with his soldiers, and he knew how to do his job, so take this as an example in your life too. God provided us with authority through His name; you have to know how to use it. The main principle of the authority is to recognize there is an authority above yours, that man had authority over his soldiers, but recognized that Jesus Christ was his authority. That`s the way it happens in our lives. We have authority, but we also have another above us. The same way we have to use it, we have to obey the order that comes from above Jesus answered that man: “When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”, Matthew 8:10. Imagine the happiness of that man when he heard that from Jesus, have the same faith, really believe that our God can do everything with just one word.
