Jesus Christ calls your attention
“…But the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.” Mark 7.15

Jesus Christ was with His disciples and a crowd; He called the attention of everyone who was there to minister the Word: “And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:” Mark 7.14 The same way He did in the past, He keeps doing today. He calls your attention to minister the good news in your life. Forget about what drives your attention away, and concentrate just on Christ`s voice. The service started with a parable of “There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man,” Mark 7:15. When He finished, Jesus got into His home, and His disciples questioned Him because they hadn`t understood. “And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him”, Mark 7:18. Jesus Christ explains to us what makes man impure, and that came from inside becuase what He says or do is inside His heart. What comes from outer side is just the food.
Your mouth speaks exactly what your heart is full of. Your attitudes are the reflex of your thought. What testimonial do you have to give your neighbor? Have your family members seen Christ in your life? Has the Holy Spirit`s bright made a difference where you pass? Think it over. Your steps have to show that the Father is the center of your life.
If your heart is full of sadness, anguish, rage, rancor, and whatever comes from others but God, so you need restoration, give in at Christ`s feet and ask Him to come into your life to clean it. This change has to happen from inside to outside. Unfortunately, many people are attached to the external part, outside to inside. The Lord looks at you inside you. He never looks at the brand of your clothes, the car that you drive, your bank account, the status that you have to the society, whether it is high or low; He looks inside you, what you have in your heart. He keeps explaining: “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”. Mark 7: 21 - 23 All that destroy people`s lives. Be careful with those thoughts because when your heart aches your body aches too. If any of those fates is present in your life, ask God for forgiveness and pray for all of that come out of your path. The one who is steady at the Word of God has a pure heart, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water,” John 7:38. That`s a wonderful verse, isn`t it? Do you want to have a river flowing in your life? Just believe that Jesus is our Savior as the Word teaches us. Remember, sweet and salty waters never flow into the same river. Be before God`s presence, ask for forgiveness, and turn the page of the past. Let God lead your life and believe in the Father because out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.
