God fulfills the dreams of those who love Him

God performs beyond your request; you have just to obey and love Him above all else.

Salomon had some impairment in his behavior; he wasn`t perfect like us. Besides his impairments, Salomon was inexperienced and unskillful as it is said in 1 kings 3: 3, but he had a great responsibility ahead. He was called for a position which requires experience, skill, but he didn`t have any of them. Sometimes, we see our failures, impairment, and unskillfulness, so we get desperate. There is no perfect being, but there are some who make more mistakes than others mas. These people usually have problems that make others scared. Every human being is weak, like herb and flower. Salomon realized that and he, like all of us need as well, realized something that makes everyone overcome all difficulties, which is faith in God. God is insurmountable, and people`s friendship won`t guarantee security, integrity, or success. John`s Gospel says that a man can`t receive anything if it doesn`t come from Heaven. Anything you and I need has to come from God.

David, Salomon`s father, lived under many severe conditions. He said he looked at mountains and knew his help would come from God. He had a massive and very well gunned army with him. Nevertheless, he knew his victories were given by God.

Now and then, negative thoughts come to your mind; you are afraid of what might happen to you and your family. Observe that the text in 1 Kings starts saying that Salomon loved the Lord. That made him the richest, the wisest, the most powerful king on Earth. That was the way his life of success started. Loving God is the beginning of every change in your life. You might not be the most beloved one or the most skillful or well-succeeded man. God uses whatever He wants to fulfill His wishes in your life and your heart. But love Him above all else with all your strength. It has to be the beginning of changes in your life. You have to invest in your relationship with God. After loving God, you may dream of anything you want and never mind whether anyone would mock you. If you love the Lord, all of those dreams will be fulfilled. Loving God makes men grow. Salomon had something very important to fulfill and didn`t have conditions to do so, but he loved God. He chose the highest mountain to offer God his sacrifice. At the same night, God showed Himself to Salomon in his dreams. Have you ever dreamed of anything you wanted to have? You have to be aware that for those who love God dreaming is the reality. Whatever you dream, it will come to your life. God said to Salomon for him to ask whatever he wanted. That`s what God tells us today, for us to ask him whatever we want from Him. Salomon had enemies because he started to grow and the more you grow, the more enemies you have. That`s inner human beings, envy, cowardice. Many people believe others threaten their success and that`s the reason why we have to depend just on God. Salomon had many women and many people to serve him. He knew he wasn`t able to do the work, but he asked God wisdom to look after those people. To many, he was about to lose his biggest opportunity, and it wasn`t the case. Salomon put God above all else and asked God to be able to look after those people who belonged to the Lord. Salomon`s words pleased the Lord because of them he was given longevity, wealth, victory over his enemies Salomon never asked to be bigger than anyone, but God made him the wisest and the most intelligent man ever. God performed beyond his request. That`s what God does to everyone who loves Him. He delivers more than what we expect from Him in our favor. We have to live this way. Those who love God may ask whatever they want to and God fulfills their wishes. God let clear that He would have performed anything he wanted Him to do. As Jesus teaches us in John, if we love Him, what we ask Him under His name, it will be fulfilled. Salomon touched God`s heart. God knows your heart; He knows what you feel for Him Salomon woke up from his dreams and was the richest man, the wisest one on Earth. His dreams came true because Salomon loved the Lord. You don`t have to be concerned or submit yourself to any ritual. Salomon gave a banquet celebrating his dreams. Never give up on your dreams, love God above all else, and it will not take long for you to see your dreams come true as well.
