Touch Christ`s Clothes

“We have to call Christ`s attention with our attitudes.”

In Mark 5.24, it is said: “So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years.” Mark 5.24-25 Wherever Jesus passed by, a crowd followed Him because He was beloved and desired by everyone. According to the Bible, there was a woman who was sick for 12 years. At the moment that she heard that Jesus Christ the Nazarene would pass by there, she believed that if she touched His clothes, she would be healed. “When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Mark 5.27-28. For being bleeding for 12 years, she was weak, really sick and couldn`t leave home, so imagine how hard it was to face a crowd. She didn`t think it over, and she passed everyone who was following Jesus Christ because she was sure that just one touch she would be healed.

We have to have this woman as an example for us. If we know that God can do everything, why do we doubt whether our problem will be solved? Why do we believe in the last word of the doctor and we doubt God`s word? Why do we let the attorney say that our case is impossible to be won? Why do we believe in the last sentence that our neighbor says about our children? Why do we believe that the lover of our husband or wife is more important than us? Stop that, my dear. You have to trust in God because He can turn everything into your favor.

“Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.” Mark 5:29. That miracle took place right away because she knew with just a simple touch; she would be free from that evil condition. “At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” Mark 5:30. That woman succeeded in calling Jesus Christ`s attention, not with shouts, or imposing her cure, or disobeying, but with her faith. Have this moment as an example, my dear. We have to call Jesus Christ`s attention with our attitudes. Be sure in your heart that just a word from Him can change all of your conditions. Believe that just a touch of His can solve any issues of yours. Be faithful in Him because just He can change your history.
