Be at Jesus' feet

When you receive Him, forget about your concerns, issues, and pay attention to the Lord.

The host has the responsibility of looking after and paying attention to the guest. In Luke 10: 38, Martha hosted Jesus, but it was Maria who stayed with Him at His feet. Many of us have tried to host Jesus, and we don’t have the care and politeness to be with Him paying attention to the Lord. Martha became restless working around the house while Maria sat down with the Lord, recognized Him, and was humble. I don`t mean that Martha was not submissive, she got concerned about the housework and because of that, she stayed away from Jesus. Many people at the church get so concerned about problems and tasks from outside, and they clog their relationship with God. Concerns make people doubt whether God answers them, whether the Lord would change their history, transform their lives. Jesus’ objective through going to Martha and Maria`s home was to teach them. Martha was very restless. Concerns even at the church make people be away from God. Like Jesus told them, the most important thing is to be at the Lord`s feet, near God.

Just God is able to bless you. Never let your concerns or problems make you away from God`s feet. Even being with Him our condition is not comfortable; figure out away from His feet. Martha became anguished, desperate because she was alone serving Him while her sister was at down at the Lord`s feet.

Concerns in the spiritual environment, are not good things. They are gaps for the devil to take advantage of and cause our lives great damages. The concerns about the changes in your life can`t be extreme to such an extent that prevent you from receiving your blessing, your victory, your cure. The church is a land of peace; never allow anyone or anything to disturb you here. The Lost Son thought it would be better to be away from his father, to get his belongings, and to adventure in the world. He got into a misery condition. So, he became aware of his situation and remembered that even the employees of his father had abundance while he was starving. He came back home, he was welcomed, and his eldest brother got astounded just to hear from his father the most significant privilege because everything that belongs to the father, belongs to him as well for being by his father side all the time. We have to bow ourselves to the Lord Jesus, not to the world, to its offers, or concerns, its fights. You have to cope with your worries and be at the Lord`s feet. Man can remove everything from you but God in your heart. While the world and Brazil are at the Lord`s feet, we will face fights, difficulties, but we will have God`s protection.
