Mind Your God`s Sight

Obey and watch for you not to lose your spiritual vision and become an ordinary human being

Samson had something we all have, which is also what keeps our vision in the Lord: obedience. When a person is loyal, he`s alert and guards the concepts of Christ with him, he's never drunk or stumbling, he is smart and supported by God`s sight. Satan wanted to destroy the strength of Samson and tried several ways. They put a woman of dubious origin in Samson`s life. No one loses sight of God at once, everyone loses their spiritual sight slowly, lingering here and there, being reckless here and there and, when recovers consciousness, he is already blind. God's recommendation was for the people of Israel to marry to people of the same tribe, who belonged to the same lineage, not to foreigners. The law of Moses said he couldn't marry to the sons and daughters of those Nations, nor would take to their sons and daughters, as would love to other gods and the anger of the Lord was against them and would destroy them. Samson knew that. Judges 16:4 tells us that, when approaching to Delilah, Samson stumbled and let himself be caught by a woman who the Bible recommended that he shouldn't be together and start to feel the first symptoms of his spiritual sight being turbid. He loses directions when he does what he shouldn`t. This woman begins to comply with what the Bible said it would happen in Deuteronomy, which is the destruction coming from God. Charmed, Bewitched, wobbly, playing with that, Samson ends up getting involved with Delilah, and she starts trying to figure out the root of the strength of Samson, where his power came from. The intention of Delilah and Samson's enemies were finding out the source of his strength, the defeat, capture and destroy it. The Philistines intended to destroy Samson and the Devil's intention for us is the same. With smooth talk, Delilah tried to know the origin of his force. Your and my great strength is in faith in Jesus Christ. To destroy a Christian, you have to go where his power is, that's where your vision of God is, your God`s sight. When you see God, you're strong, but when you stop seeing God, you become weak and is shot down.

The devil wants you to be an ordinary person, not a spiritual person. While you see God, you will never be an average person, and Satan cannot defeat you, he can only hurt you if you're an ordinary person, so he's not going to turn you into one.

The first time, Samson lied to Delilah and said that if he were tied the right way, he would lose strength. She did, and then he called troops of Philistines, but as he lied, he won them comfortably. Again, he lied, and she tied him up, and he blew the ropes up when the soldiers arrived. Samson was so blind that Delilah trapped him without success, and yet he couldn't see he looked like a lamb on the way to the slaughter because he began to deviate and not to fulfill the word of God, but there was a moment he was trapped. Samson said that his strength came from his hair. Satan wants to take your advantage away because while you have an alliance with God, he can do nothing, but when you lose your alliance with God, your vision, you will lose your strength and will be defeated. Samson was captured, humiliated, imprisoned, blinded and then killed. The devil wants the same for you, take your vision away, to embarrass you, humiliate you and enslave you. Ordinary people, who have the sight of God, the devil never touches. Preserve your vision because that`s what will take you to the Kingdom of Heaven, happiness, peace, success. All you determine you do succeed, you will reach where you want, you just need that vision, which comes from God, that He gives you. The Lord brought us to be chosen people by his mercy toward us, and God will unlock more and bigger things inside you. For that, you need to continue with your vision of God.
