Hold God tight with love

The true love comes with gratitude, tenderness, and respect

Today, the Father teaches us how to love deep from the heart and not due to interest. In Psalms 91 verse 2 it says: “I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Have you declared this verse sincerely? Or have you sought God`s help just in anguishing moments? There are many ways for us to hold God tight, positive and negative ways, for instance: Have you loved God above everything and everyone? Have you told Him lovely words? Have you shown Him He is the King in your life? Or have you declared your love just in fighting moments, and after that, you forget about Him? Have you used His name just under interest? Think that over. Jesus can do everything, He can fulfill your needs, however, you don`t have to seek Him for what He can do in your life, but you have to love Him for what He is deep from the heart. In the same chapter in Psalm, but verse 14 it says: “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.” God really knows what you feel because He sees what is hidden in your heart. Do you love the Father indeed?

At the moment of despair everyone calls His Name, but you have to call Him in every moment. He has to be by your side everyday in happy or sad days; He has to be your best friend. That proves how tight you are to Him calling Him to be together with you every moment.

Let`s provide you with examples for you to understand it better. You have a son and he asks you for a new toy, but at this moment you don`t have this amount of money to afford it, so you tell the child you can`t afford it and then he rebels against you and tell you that you are not his parent anymore. It would hurt you, wouldn`t it? Unfortunately, we do the same to God in some moments. If he doesn't give us that blessing, we would get mad and away from Him showing that He is not our Father, or we wouldn`t talk to Him, "Oh, if You don't heal me it is because You are not God" or "Oh, if you don't do it I'm not going to the church", and that is the same thing, we're doing blackmail with the Lord, stop it, don't love Him for what He can give you, but for what He is. If you are doing that, you just show that you're with Him for personal interest, due to your own necessity, but that could change, pray now my dear, and ask the Father for forgiveness, tell Him you want to love Him truly, and want a new life with Him. True love is one that comes with gratitude, with affection and with respect. Hold Christ tight truly
