Seek the Lord with all your heart
(...) The desire of his heart is that we seek him to worship him and not to ask

Open the Holy Bible in the book of Jeremiah, chapter 29 and verse 13, says the Lord: "And you will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart." The heart of the person who is distressed or desperate, is divided or totally focused on the need. For example, when a person is sick and begins to seek God, all thoughts and prayers are directed to healing, not to worshiping God, that is, the heart is not in the Lord, but in the need. It appears that God is the servant, or the physician, as if He had an obligation to heal you, but no, because He is Lord, He needs no one, and He has no obligation to cure you either.
God acts in our lives through mercy, because we deserve nothing, but with grace He grants what we need.
God does not blame those who seek Him because of a need, but the heart's desire of Him is that we seek Him to worship Him and not to ask. The moment you worship and exalt the Lord for what He is, not for what He can give you, everything changes. For in the Word He says, "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart," Jeremiah 29:13. He is not saying to seek you to conquer something, but with all your heart. Seek the Lord regardless of the situation my brother, but worship Him for being the Almighty and not because He can heal you.
