In the book of Kings 6:5, there is a history of a man that looked for the prophet Elisha, he suffered a huge loss. He didn’t have a large wealth and to make money he used to cut the bushes around the river. In order to make this work, he needed to borrow an axe. At that time, an axe was very expensive. Nowadays an axe costs around one hundred reais. When that man swung the axe, it flew up. He got desperate because he needed to give it back or pay for the axe. Nowadays, when we don’t pay our debts our name is written in a bad credit record (black list). In the past, people were slaved until the value to be paid. That man would have to work for the rest of his life as a slaver, because of an axe that fell into the river. It`s the same distress of when an entrepreneur knows that his money was blocked in the bank account. One day he is rich, the next he wakes up owing to the entire world. This distress leads many people to kill themselves and it was the same distress that the man felt. No matter who it is, no one likes losing dignity. In this case, it’s useless crying, regretting, mourning, seeking for lucky. It`s only one thing that changes a person’s life: claiming for Abraham’s God. Only Him can change such situation. Who seeks Him is going to be answered, strengthened. This guy went to prophet Elisha and asked for a rescue from God. Finding an axe in the river as São Francisco it’s impossible. It was an irreplaceable loss. We don’t have to look down, but look up because God has authority upon us. What God did is what we do when we go to church and pray, that is seeking a solution in God.

Elisha asked the man to show him where the axe fell into. Elisha cut a piece of wood, threw it near the place that the man pointed to and the iron axe floated.

I can’t explain you natural rules, I’m not a lecturer, so you can’t learn it from me. I’m a priest and I got the sight from God’s Kingdom for your life. It doesn’t come from eloquent words, techniques, philosophies, methods or teachings but from praying and obeying God. What makes difference in our lives are not rules, skills or human words. The book of Ecclesiastes 9:11 “The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skills; But time and chance happen to them all.’’ Which means, that there are no practical rules, there are things that transcend human’s comprehension. The prize does not belong to the capable ones neither will come blessings from this world to the life of anyone. The aim of the God’s man is bringing things from God’s kingdom to our lives and who receives them from heaven makes the difference. The prize belongs to who is faithful and honest with God. Through God, we achieve greats victories. That man that got desperate searched and asked for help, saw the prophet manifesting the faith and his problem being solved. The iron axe can’t float, but according the God’s Kingdom, everything can happen. Seas can be open, donkey speaks, fire falls from heaven, and a dead person revives. People recover what they lost, another ones become bosses. Healings and cures happen and challenge the knowledge.
