God is the one who does all things!
Solomon had a desire to grow and He was the wisest man the earth has ever seen

However, even with his wisdom, he was disappointed by his achievements. With this, we can learn that our fullness is not in our victories, and in Jesus Christ! Solomon, invested all his energy, strength and time to conquer, but he got tired. When he understood that what he wanted came from God, he put all his time in the Lord, and so he received what he wanted so much.
"I said in my heart, 'Come, I will prove you with joy; therefore enjoy pleasure; but behold, this also was vanity. "(Ecclesiastes 2: 1) Vanity is the exaggerated desire to appear, a feeling of superiority.
Meditate on Ecclesiastes 2 from verse 2 to verse 10. All that was material goods, we see that Solomon conquered, but perceived that it was vanity. "And I looked unto all the works which they did for my hands, and for the work which I labored for, and, behold, all was vanity and affliction of spirit, and that there was none profit under the sun." Ecclesiastes 2:11) Understand my dear brother, the true pleasure of man, is not in conquests, but in God! Nothing is worth gold, being far from the Father. No wealth on this earth will make you feel what you feel when you are with the Creator. As long as God is a priority in your life, you will surely have all the good and the best!
