The light of the Lord guides your ways

Everything contained in the Word of God is to guide us

The word of the Lord is the light for our ways, when it says "ways" refers to our plans, projects. Light, it is what clarifies, that deciphers, that goes ahead, that precedes. Like the headlight of your car, where is it? Up front, right? That is, the light shows what lies ahead. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my ways." (Psalms 119: 105) You just move on, after the light lights the way, right? So it happens in our spiritual life, we can only make a decision, after the Lord opens the way with the light, that is, after we analyze to know that it is in accordance with the Word of God.

Understand my brother, all that is written in the Holy Bible has a meaning, has a teaching, because the Lord would not write for writing, no! Everything contained in the Word of God is to guide us.

Gideon was a man chosen by God, he had a small army made up of peasants, and went to confront the larger army, the Midianites. But the Lord commanded them to be just the mighty, and so the small army of Gideon was diminishing. "Then the Lord said to Gideon, 'Whosoever licks the waters with his tongue, as the dog licks, you shall set him apart, as also every one that kneel down to drink. And the number of them that lapped, and lifted up their hand to their mouths, three hundred men: and all the rest of the people fell down on their knees to drink the waters: and the LORD said unto Gideon, With these three hundred men that licked the waters, and I will give the Midianites into thine hand: therefore all the rest shall depart, every one to his place. " (Judges 7: 5 to 7) Understand that those who kneel before the water will surely kneel before the troubles, and those who drank with their hands to their mouths were paying attention to their surroundings, that is, they were attentive. Which group do you want to be? Know that if you do not bend your knees in the face of adversity, no one will prevent you from getting where you wish. Let the light of the Lord guide your ways, and never kneel before the tribulations. God bless your day!
