"And it pleased Darius to set over the kingdom a hundred and twenty princes, which were over all the kingdom; And over them were three presidents, of whom Daniel was one, to whom these princes gave account, that the king should suffer no harm. Then the same Daniel overcame these presidents and princes; because in him was an excellent spirit; and the king thought to set him over all the kingdom. "(Daniel 6: 1 to 3) The king had a plan, the plan to put Daniel as his deputy, meaning Daniel would send everything under him. However, Daniel was not from that place, he was a foreigner, moreover, he was exiled. We see that the key to this is that Daniel had an excellent spirit.

Perhaps you are wondering what this excellent spirit would be, biblically speaking means that that person will never be overcome by his adversary, that he is compassionate, merciful, loving, just and above all this, he fears God, that is, he has as a priority, to please and serve God!

"Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find no occasion or fault; because he was faithful, and there was found no error or fault in him. Then these men said, "We will never find a chance against this Daniel unless we find him against him in the law of his God." (Daniel 6: 4, 5) Daniel, because he had an excellent spirit, , had many, however, his enemies found no error to blame him before the king. For all Daniel was alone, but for those who have the excellent spirit, never alone, Hallelujah! "Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that thou hast set thy heart to understand and to humble thyself before thy God, thy words are heard; and I have come because of your words. "(Daniel 10:12) Sometimes the devil tries to put in his mind that God is not listening to him, but know that from the first day of his cry the Lord heard him! Today the Lord says: Do not stop praying! "All the presidents of the kingdom, the captains and princes, counselors and governors, have agreed to promulgate a royal edict and confirm the prohibition that anyone who for thirty days makes a petition to any god, or any man, and not to thee, O king, be cast into the den of lions. Now therefore, O king, confirm the prohibition, and sign the decree, lest it be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which can not be revoked. "(Daniel 6: 7, 8) Even though the enemy Try against your life, be strong, my brother. Daniel was not afraid, on the contrary, he knelt, and gave thanks to God! Then he was taken to the den of lions, but as you all know, Jesus Christ was with him, and he was delivered from death! The king could not deliver, but the King of Kings could! "My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they should not hurt me: for innocence hath been found in me before him; and also against thee, O king, I have committed no offense. And the king greatly rejoiced in himself, and commanded to take Daniel out of the pit. So Daniel was taken out of the pit, and no harm was found in him, because he believed in his God. "(Daniel 6:22, 23) God bless your day!
