Time to listen

Letting the voice of God minister our hearts will fill us with life and joy

When was the last time you stopped to listen to God? When you pray do you pour a hundred requests or also listen to your advice? The Lord is so good that we end up getting unwell. We get addicted to "ask, ask" and forget that listening is one of the steps to winning.

"Incline your ear and come to me; I have heard, and your soul shall live; for with you I will make an everlasting covenant, which consists in the faithful mercies promised to David, "Isaiah 55: 3.

Paying attention, giving credit to the voice of God gives us precise direction, direct to the target that we must reach. It is worse than hearing the voice of God to hear it and not obey it. Daniel had a powerful experience. For three weeks he fasted and prayed for the face of God. Days after the end of his purpose, by the river Tigris, the angel of the Lord visited him and released words of encouragement. "When he spoke with me, I was strengthened," he mentions in his book, Daniel, in chapter 10, verse 19b. The word that comes out of the mouth of God never returns empty, always produces the result for which it was designated. We are very limited, but when we are full of pride we end up thinking that we can do it alone and act independently, forgetting that we need the Lord for absolutely everything we do. Even if we choose what we choose, if we listen to the voice from above and obey it we will always live infinitely longer. God thinks great! "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts," Isaiah 55: 9 No one can win without God. God bless your day!
