How does the Son of God dwell within man? What enables Christ, the heir of all heavenly wealth, to make his home corruptible? Faith! When man begins to believe in Jesus he turns the knob so that his life becomes completely transformed. According to Ephesians 3:17, faith is what causes Jesus to enter our hearts. For Him to remain, another element is needed: love.

"Christ dwelleth in your heart by faith: and so let Christ dwell in your heart by faith, being rooted and grounded in love," Ephesians 3:17

It's as if everything works like a building. Love is the foundation, the foundation by which the walls will be lifted, and faith are the pillars that will not let this structure collapse. One does not succeed without the other. In order for the house to remain standing, both must be present. Anyone can have faith. It is not generated by the balance of our bank accounts, level of education or influence. It is a spiritual skill where we come to have "certain things that are hoped for, the conviction of things not seen," Hebrews 11: 1. We came to see even in a completely dark room. Proof of this is the blind man of Jericho. Who cried out to seek the attention of Jesus and was not only healed, but also saved, by his great faith (Mark 10: 46-52). The apostle Paul is a clear example of love. Former persecutor of the Church, he becomes a faithful follower and servant dedicated to the brothers. His love for his neighbor was so extreme that he subjected himself to death every day and was willing to put himself on his knees for hours and hours before God's power would strengthen all. Faith and love, this is the equation of the Kingdom of God that makes Christ dwell in us. Let them never lack in your heart. God bless your day.
