In Brazil, the political regime does not have the king as the main leadership of the country (monarchy) as in the period in which the stories of the Old Testament are passed. At that time, the king was the one who gave the final word, he owned everything before men. Psalm 24: 8 presents us with a very different king from that which mankind has already known, a king so full of glory who is called the "King of Glory," there is no one so powerful as He.

"Who is the King of Glory? The LORD, mighty and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. "

The authorities are constituted by God and are subject to Him. Its power is delimited and the Creator, if it so desires, influences the decisions. In the book of Esther we read the story of a man whom the Lord chose to honor. Mordecai was Jewish, fearing and faithful. By his ethical stance he was persecuted by Haman, man of confidence of the king Ahasuerus. Taken by insecurity and envy, he plots various snares in an attempt to destroy him, but he has no success in any of them. The servant of God is not only free from ambushes, but honorable before all. The king asks his princes to dress him in his clothes and mount him on the horse he used for a parade in the main square of the province. If you are a person who always goes unnoticed, no one bothers you. When you start to grow and take off flights to conquer, opponents come up. Mordecai had no possession, but his deeds made him stand out. God is not interested in your diplomas, lineage, color of your skin or religion. He wants his feelings and thoughts to touch his heart. If there is an adversary, something or someone hindering your way, God will put you to walk on your horse and wear real clothes, be honored. That is, you will receive quality of life that no one else can provide you. God bless your day!
