Psalms to the Lord
Worshiping God is a biblical ordinance that we must obey

A precept is an order, a lesson to be learned and practiced. In Psalm 81, Asaph, a Levite who used all his gifts to write songs to the Lord, teaches that worshiping God is something we should not do only when we feel like it, but at all times as a form of gratitude and obedience. In doing so, we recognize that He is worthy.
"Salmodiai and sound the tambourine, the soft harp with the psaltery. Blow the trumpet at the New Moon Feast on the full moon the day of our feast. It is a precept for Israel, it is a requirement of the God of Jacob, "Psalm 81: 1-3.
My day must begin and end by chanting to the Lord. This is a law that can not be revoked. It is God's command to begin praying thanks, no matter the circumstances, the moments of our life, we need to worship. The people of Israel contradicted this while they were in the desert. They looked back and wished to return to Egypt because they no longer endured the suffering and difficulties they faced on the way. This psalm is justly God lamenting the repentance of the people in following their instruction to walk by faith. The hearts of the people were so far from the Creator that they considered what Pharaoh had built, a man like them and who had enslaved them, better than their Creator. Instead of complaining, sing. Open your mouth and free the Lord! God bless your day!
