Two men, two offers and two finals. Abel, offered the firstfruits, the first part of what he produced; Cain also offered, however, with a completely different zeal.

"Abel brought the firstfruits of his flock and the fat thereof. The LORD was pleased with Abel and his offering, "Genesis 4: 4

God may or may not please His offering. If it is with love and joy, he receives it. But if it be by obligation or charge, my brother may forget that He will certainly refuse it, just as He did with what Cain consecrated at the altar. He does not need your offer, nor mine. He established this principle to bless us. Offering and tithing are opportunities that the Lord has given us. This is what David said: "O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build you a house to your holy name comes from your hand and is all yours. I know, my God, that you try the hearts and that you like sincerity; I also, in the sincerity of my heart, willingly gave all these things; I have just seen with joy that your people, who are here, offer you willingly, "1Chronicles 29:16, 17. God gives us to give ourselves to Him. I remember when my daughters were small, separated the offer of each and gave them. He taught that it was not to spend, but to offer the Lord in worship, today they are blessed and very prosperous. So I see that God gives us exactly so that we can willingly offer our firstfruits to Him, as best as our hands reach. Cain, chose anything and was cursed. Abel, chose the firstfruits, the first animals and offered the Lord and touched the heart of the Father. When God is pleased with someone, that person is blessed. Have a very special weekend!
