Comforted by God

For all there is a time! And the word of God says that this is the time for you to be blessed.

Have you ever tried to comfort someone? There are times when we can only be comforted by God. When you and I try to comfort someone, we speak words of encouragement, positive words, we try to show the good side of the story. God, when he saw his people getting lost, looked to the side and saw Jesus, then sent him to heal the heart of mankind. When the Father saw his beloved son, the reason for all his designs, it hurt his heart, yet he must have thought, "I have to comfort my people, to renew my covenant."

"Comfort, comfort my people, saith your God," Isaiah 40: 1

In this chapter of the book of the prophet Isaiah, God directs people to speak the good news, to declare to the people that the time of affliction is coming to an end. That is, Jesus comes to bring a new time, to facilitate our entrance into the Kingdom of God. In the New Testament, the person who prepares the way for Christ to come to us is John the Baptist. He preached in all the squares with a loud voice about the coming of the Son of God. He who listened to the preaching and repented was blessed, built his house on the rock, and the building was firm even if there were strong winds. Returning to the prophet Isaiah, a promise affirms that we will be witnesses to the glory of the Lord who "shall appear, and all flesh shall see it: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it," Isaiah 40: 5. But how does the glory of God manifest? The answer is in the book of John, chapter 15 and verse 8: "By this my Father is glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my disciples. " The glory of the Lord is manifested when his people bear much fruit. In a people defeated, humiliated, with closed doors the glory of the Lord does not manifest. The glory of God shines when we obey his will and bear fruit worthy of repentance. Receive this word and enter this new time! Have a blessed day.
