God's way of working is different from men, He abates who thinks he is greater than others and values those the smallest of the house

At the time when Jesus walked with his disciples performing miracles, part of the people who witnessed those deeds, questioned their identity. Some believed to be a prophet, others the incarnation of Elijah or Jeremiah. When the Son of God interrogates the men who accompanied him, his true essence is revealed:

"And he said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answered and said unto him, Thou art the Christ, "Mark 8:29.

Peter did not make this identification by his own merit or wisdom. Who revealed to be Jesus the Son of God was the Father. We can only know Christ if God presents us. We are blessed not because we are above average or because something in us has caught the attention of God. All that we possess was given by the Lord, is the fruit of His goodness and mercy. One day, I started to question that. Then I realized that Gideon was chosen because he was a minor in his home. Saul, when he was chosen to be king of Israel, was hidden. God gave a country into the hands of a man whom no one could see. "Then they asked the Lord again if that man should come there. And the LORD said, Behold, he is hid there among the baggage, "1 Samuel 10:22. The form that the Creator acts has no explanation. He is Lord of everything and does as he pleases, there is no booklet that he needs to follow. Saul was seen by the eyes of God and raised up by him to rule his people, the most precious part formed by his hands. As the king applied his whole heart to the orders directed by the Almighty, he was quite successful. But being polluted by covetousness and sin, he was overthrown by David, smaller than he in physical stature, but great in character, courage, and devotion. He who stands in the lowest place before men is exalted by God. In the parable of the "Prodigal Son" when the young man returns to his father's house, he only wants to be treated as one of his servants and is greeted with a party. This is how the Lord does: He places the child as the greatest. Let your heart be rested in the righteousness of God. Have a blessed day!
